The Department of Commercial Law and Economic Law (hereinafter referred to as “Department”) is one of the departments of the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava. As part of the pedagogical process, it focuses mainly on the teaching of compulsory subjects Commercial Law I, Commercial Law II and Economic Law. The department also offers a wide range of elective courses taught in English, such as: Corporate Governance, Company Law, Negotiation, Mergers & Acquisitions, etc.

Didactical and scientific tasks are performed by a team of renowned experts, who are working not only in academia but are also legal practitioners. The current staff structure consists of 2 professors, 5 associate professors, 4 assistant professors and 2 internal doctoral students. All members together spread the good name and high credit of the department, faculty, and Comenius University at home and abroad.
