ISIC CARD

It is necessary that all incoming students obtain an university identification card.

This card is valid as an identification card in the university systems, e.g. faculty and dormitory access, library, canteens, etc., and in external systems, e.g. public transportation discount, Slovak Rail, etc. The card costs 10 Eur.

Comenius University offers this ID card in two forms you can choose from: as a standard ID card (costs 10 Eur) or combined with the International Student Identification Card - ISIC (costs 20 Eur). This version also offers student discounts in selected shops and cultural institutions – for more information, please follow https://www.isic.org/ and https://isic.sk/ (currently available only in Slovak).

The card you choose needs to be paid to the bank account of your receiving faculty. You will receive the card after your arrival at the receiving faculty.
