International scientific conference on digitalization, changes in external environment and society of the future
Courtroom of the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava,Šafárik square 6, Bratislava on 7 December 2018 (Friday) from 09:00 to 14:00
This international scientific conference is the final and output event of the VEGA grant project no. 2/0109/16 "Institutional Competitiveness in the Light of Changes in the External Environment", which focuses on the development of the external environment as a carrier of dynamics in economic theory and the reason for adopting conceptual decisions in economic and social reforms. The current external changes will fundamentally affect the demands of the institutional competitiveness of the Slovak economy in the 21st century because the combination of parallel integration processes (e.g. Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) and long-term "mega" trends (e.g. aging of population, income polarization and indebtedness, the energy crisis), gives rise to a new complex structure of changing conditions both on the aggregate demand side and on the supply side. The interdisciplinary approach allows us to understand better the causal link between the factors of institutional competitiveness and issues of commercial and financial law, for example in the field of protection of foreign investments.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Please sign up for registration via the registration form no later than 4 December 2018 until 4 pm. After this deadline, registration will be closed.
