European Youth Week 2024

On 12 April 2024, students of the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava, Lucia Rybanová and Andrea Martinková, had the opportunity to participate in a Kick-off event in Brussels, as part of the European Youth Week 2024, organised by the European Parliament.

 

The main topic of the event was the upcoming European Parliament elections, but the event also covered the issue of young people's involvement in initiatives and the functioning of the European Union.

 

During the event, the participants had the opportunity to get a closer look at the opportunities provided by the European Union for young people (e.g. internships, Erasmus+ and various other initiatives) and were also guided through topics that are considered essential for the future cooperation of the Member States, such as critical thinking in the digital space or climate change.
