Summer school with a focus on EU Law, Comparative Public Law and International Tax Law
From July 15 to July 28, 2019, the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava organizes a summer school for students from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Chongqing, China, which is based on a memorandum of mutual cooperation that our institutions have signed on May 27, 2019.
From July 15 to July 28, 2019, the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava organizes a summer school for students from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Chongqing, China, which is based on a memorandum of mutual cooperation that our institutions have signed on May 27, 2019.
Over the next two weeks, students will learn more about topics such as European Union Law, International Taxation, International Negotiation, History of Comparative Public Law.
The Summer School helps the students to understand the institutional formation and structure of the EU, as well as its effects on the legal systems of its Member States in selected legal areas. It also offers the opportunity to understand the basics of the functioning of public law, where it focuses on selected issues. It also offers clarification of the relationship between the system of international law and European law.
Teaching is provided by the renowned experts from our faculty and has a multidisciplinary character. Its aim is to highlight the development and current trends in the EU legal system, to take into account the changing of the global legal system and to point out the current issues and problems in the legal practice.
