AGREEMENT ON MUTUAL COOPERATION WITH THE NUCLEAR REGULATORY AUTHORITY
Faculty of Law CU, Faculty of Natural Sciences CU and Nuclear Regulatory Authority have signed an Agreement on Mutual Cooperation

Dean of the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava, (hereinafter referred to as "PraF UK"), doc. JUDr. Eduard Burda, PhD., Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as "PriF UK") prof. RNDr. Peter Fedor, PhD. and Chairperson of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as “UJD SR”) Ing. Marta Žiaková, CSc. signed an Agreement on Mutual Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) on 31 January 2022 on the premises of UJD SR.
The subject of the Agreement is mutual cooperation, especially in the field of academic research of legal issues and problems related to activities within the scope of competence of UJD SR and in the field of education, science, research and preparation of graduates of law and natural sciences for their mission in accordance with the mission of PraF UK and PriF UK and in accordance with the scope of operation of UJD SR.
All parties to the Agreement expressed great interest in joint cooperation, which will be performed in various forms, especially in the form of consultations of experts of each party to the Agreement, joint research activities of experts in all areas of operation of UJD SR and in informing and enabling participation of employees of the parties to the Agreement in professional and scientific events organized by them.
In addition, PraF UK, PriF UK and UJD SR will cooperate especially on various scientific projects and grants and in solving grant projects in the field of science, research and education within the scope of operation of the parties to the Agreement.
The deans of both faculties of CU emphasize the need to interconnect theoretical knowledge acquired on the academic ground with practical experience and knowledge provided by UJD SR employees as experts in its field of competence. At the same time, UJD SR is aware of the need to find answers to practical questions and problems via the engagement of an independent academic community. It is a mutually beneficial relationship, which justifies the conclusion of the Agreement.
