The event brought together experts from law, technology, ethics and the social sciences, focusing on the most pressing challenges related to the regulation of digital platforms, AI, cybersecurity and data protection.
Our team contributed to the programme with two presentations: The Simplification Edition: Right to the Protection of Personal Data Sold Separately, offering a critical analysis of the Digital Omnibus and Alone Together Online: Digital Loneliness and the Gaps in EU Digital Regulation, which presented an interdisciplinary examination of digital loneliness and identified regulatory gaps within current EU law.
The conference was enriched by keynote contributions from leading scholars, including Anu Bradford, Gloria González Fuster, Benjamin Farrand and Michael Veale, who highlighted the importance of the European approach to digital regulation and its global impact. Participation in TILTing Perspectives 2026 provided a valuable opportunity for international collaboration and deepening expertise in IT law. The event reaffirmed that an interdisciplinary mindset, critical thinking and the ability to connect values with innovation are essential for shaping digital legal frameworks.
