Viktória Virágová Takes Second Place at the EY Tax Challenge 2026

We are delighted to announce that 2nd place in the professional tax competition—EY Tax Challenge 2026—was awarded to Bc. Viktória Virágová, a second-year student in the master’s program!

The competition was a challenging yet extremely valuable experience. It was not just about theoretical knowledge. Its essence was solving complex practical situations from the perspective of a tax advisor.

Participants focused primarily on:

• International tax issues and cross-border software licensing.

• Analyzing the risks of establishing a permanent establishment when working remotely.

• Transfer pricing and relevant case law.

Discussions with practicing experts were among the event’s greatest benefits. They fostered strategic thinking and highlighted the dynamic nature of the tax field.
