Internal Regulations
The internal regulations of the Faculty regulate matters of the Faculty that fall within its self-governing competence and its relationship to the University , if they are not regulated by law.
The Faculty issues the following internal regulations:
a) Faculty Statute,
b) organisational regulations of the Faculty,
c) the principles of elections to the Academic Senate of the Faculty,
d) Rules of Procedure of the Academic Senate of the Faculty,
e) Rules of Procedure of the Scientific Board of the Faculty,
f) regulations governing the internal system of the University in the conditions of the Faculty, if required by the internal system of the University,
g) principles for the election of the Dean,
h) directives and orders of the Dean.
The Faculty also issues these internal regulations if it decides that it needs to regulate the areas concerned in more detail on its own terms compared to the regulation of the internal regulations of the University:
a) rules of study of the Faculty,
b) labour regulations of the Faculty,
c) scholarship regulations of the Faculty,
d) Faculty disciplinary regulations for students,
e) rules of procedure of the Disciplinary committee of the Faculty.
The statute of the Faculty, organizational regulations of the Faculty and - if they are issued - rules of study of the Faculty, labour regulations of the Faculty, scholarship regulations of the Faculty, disciplinary regulations of the Faculty for students and rules of procedure of the Disciplinary committee of the Faculty, are approved by the Academic senate of the Faculty on the proposal of the dean.
If the Statute of the Faculty so determines, the Academic Senate or another collective body of the Faculty shall also approve other internal regulations of the Faculty on the proposal of the Dean.
The principles of the election of the Dean, the principles of elections to the Academic senate of the Faculty and the rules of procedure of the Academic senate of the Faculty are approved by the Academic senate of the Faculty on the proposal of the chairman of the Academic senate of the Faculty.
The rules of procedure of the Scientific council of the Faculty are approved by the Scientific council of the Faculty on the proposal of the chairman of the Scientific council of the Faculty.
The Statute of the Faculty and the rules of study of the Faculty are also subject to the approval of the Academic senate of the University, after approval by the Academic senate of the Faculty.
The Dean may issue directives and orders within his/her competence in relation to the staff and students of the Faculty, whereby:
a) Dean's directives are internal organisational and management acts of the Faculty, which are valid for all employees and students of the Faculty, unless otherwise stipulated therein,
b) the Dean's orders are in the nature of management acts which apply to a specific case or group of cases.
