Accommodation

Družba Dormitory is a part of the Comenius University Bratislava. It provides accommodation for Slovak and international students attending the Comenius University.

Družba Dormitory is situated near the city centre. The Faculty of Natural Sciences is approximately a 5-minute walking distance. The Faculties of Law and Medicine are reachable by public transport in about 15 minutes. Družba Dormitory is ca 100 meters away from the riverbank of the Danube river.

Students can use sport areas (tennis court, beach volleyball court, basketball court) or small bar. Along the riverbank of the Danube you can enjoy a pleasant walk or a jogging.

PLACES IN DRUŽBA DORMITORY ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE GOING TO ATTEND THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE, LAW OR NATURAL SCIENCES AT COMENIUS UNIVERSITY.

Directions to DRUŽBA

From the Main railway station (Hlavná stanica) – Take the bus number 32 in the direction of "Kuklovská" and get off at the stop "Botanická záhrada/Botanical Garden". The journey takes about 13 minutes; buy a 30-minute ticket for 1,10 € (basic tariff) or 55 cents (reduced tariff for students)*.

From the bus station Mlynske Nivy (autobusová stanica) – Take the bus number 70 in the direction of "Most SNP". Get off at the 3rd stop "Nám. Ľ. Štúra", then walk around 1-2 minutes to the tram stop "Nám. Ľ. Štúra" (in front of the gallery) and take the tram number 4. Get off at the 5th stop "Botanická záhrada/Botanical Garden".

From Bratislava Airport (letisko) – Take the bus number 61 direction "Hlavná stanica" (Main Railway Station), get off at the last stop "Hlavná stanica". Take the bus number 32 in the direction of "Kuklovská" and get off at the 9th stop "Botanická záhrada/Botanical Garden". The whole journey takes about 44 minutes. Buy a 1-hour ticket for 1,60 € (basic tariff) or 80 cents (reduced tariff for students)*. After 10pm we recommend you to take a taxi. The fare should not exceed 15 Euros. Ask the taxi driver about the fare before taking it.

From Vienna – Schwechat Airport – you can take a bus to Bratislava. The timetables are available e.g. on Slovak Lines.

The prices are about 10 €. The final stop is Bratislava Airport (letisko), but you have to get off at the stop "Most SNP" - there change for a tram no. 4 direction "Dúbravka"/ "Karlova Ves". Get off at the 4th stop "Botanická Záhrada/Botanical Garden"; you will need a 30-minute ticket for 1,10 € (basic tariff) or 55 cents (reduced tariff for students)*.
