UNIVERSITY ID CARD

It is necessary that all incoming Erasmus students obtain an university identification card.

This card is valid as an identification card in the university systems, e.g. faculty and dormitory access, library, canteens, etc., and in external systems, e.g. public transportation discount, Slovak Rail, etc.

You can choose from two types:

• International Student Identification Card - ISIC (costs 26 Eur). Offers special student discounts in selected shops and cultural institutions, can be used as a bus pass* - recommended (for more information, please follow https://www.isic.org/ and https://isic.sk/)
• a standard student ID card (costs 13 Eur), can be used as a bus pass*, provides access to university buildings, but no other student discounts

*additional 3,60€ fee is paid in order to buy public transport tickets with a 50% discount, the fee is paid after you receive and activate the card.

The card you choose needs to be paid to the bank account of your receiving faculty. You will receive the card during the Welcome Week, or after your arrival at the receiving faculty.
