Bratislava Legal Forum
Bratislava Legal Forum is an annually organised international academic conference of a multidisciplinary character interconnecting legal theory and practice. It was first held at the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava in 2013.
The aim of the conference is to provide a discussion platform to the judges and other legal practitioners as well as to the academic community. The conference is, in accordance with the aforementioned aim, divided into a plenary session and parallel discussions conducted in topic-based sections with the primary focus on the current issues and challenges faced by judiciary.
The fifth year of the international academic conference “Bratislava Legal Forum 2019” will be held on 14th and 15th February 2019 under the auspices of JUDr. Daniela Švecová, President of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic and JUDr. Lenka Praženková, President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic.
The primary topic of the plenary session held at the conference is “Independence and ethical dimension of the judicial power exercise”.
