Milestones of Law in Central Europe

The Milestones of Law in Central Europe represents an academic conference for Ph.D. students and young researchers to present the findings of their scientific activities and to discuss current issues concerning the legal theory in order to find solutions to the existing application problems.

The Milestones of Law in Central Europe is a unique project in the Slovak Republic which is very popular with the members of professional public. It offers both – an excellent opportunity for professional development and an opportunity to build and develop relationships with its participants from the Slovak, Czech, Polish, Hungarian and Austrian faculties of law.

Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Law organised 18th year of international scholarly conference for Ph.D. students and young researchers “The Milestones of Law in Central Europe 2024". The conference was held under the auspices of the Dean of Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava, prof. JUDr. Eduard Burda, PhD., from 22 and 23 March 2024 in the premises of Purpose-built facility of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Častá – Papiernička. The conference was intended for all Ph.D. students and law researchers who have not obtained the scientific and pedagogical title of associate professor yet.
