The preparatory courses are aimed primarily for students attending the last year of a secondary school as well as other applicants interested in being enrolled in the bachelor's degree programme in law in either the daily or external form of study.
The courses will take place in January – February 2016 (5x on Saturday, see the schedule of the courses below) and will be held at the Faculty of Law, CU, in its room called amphitheatre located on the 2nd floor of the historical building of CU. The courses will be conducted in Slovak language.
Focus of the Preparatory Courses for Admission Procedure:
· General knowledge focused on social sciences,
· Basics of logical reasoning,
· Basics of philosophy,
· Basics of law and Constitution of SR.
No invitations to attend the courses are sent out. The benefit of the courses consists in the fact that it is composed of lectures delivered to its participants on topics which they would otherwise have to search for and study on their own.
The Faculty reserves the right to cancel the courses or decide that they will not be held due to the lack of participants.
By attending the courses, no right to be automatically admitted to study is constituted.
The Faculty reserves the right not to carry out the written admission procedure in case of an insufficient number of applicants.
The fee for participation in the courses represents EUR 160. Confirmation of payment of the fee shall be sent together with the application for courses by 15 January 2016 to the Faculty's address.
Schedule of the Courses:
· 8:30 - 9:00 checking the attendance,
· 9:00 - 12:00 lectures,
· 12:00 - 13:00 lunch break,
· 13:00 - 15:55 lectures.
We request that the course participants adhere to the time scale within the timetable designated for checking their attendance at the course.
