1. deadline for submitting an application for studies:

'Law': round I by 15 June 2024; round II by 15 August 2024; (the dean may also designate round III with a deadline for application by 20 September 2024)

'Economics and Law': until 31 March 2024; the Dean may extend this deadline

'Management and Law': Until 31.05.2024 (first round) , until 31.08.2024 (second round), the Dean may extend the deadline.

Law: 600 (full-time study); 200 (part-time study)

Economics and Law: 100 for full-time study and 50 for part-time study

4. Conditions for accepting applicants: basic conditions for acceptance

The basic condition for admission to a bachelor's degree is to obtain a complete secondary education or a complete secondary professional education.

5. Further conditions for admission to study

"The law":

The applicant has an adequate general overview in the field of social science, history and logical thinking

Completed high school education is considered as proof of the necessary minimum level of fulfillment of other admission conditions according to the point (i.e. without an entrance exam).

By submitting the application, the applicant acknowledges the conditions for completing the study program, that he is able to study the given study program, that he knows the Slovak language and one of the following languages at least at the B2 level of the European reference framework: English language, German language, French language

 

"Economics and law":

The candidate has an adequate general overview in the field of social science, history and logical thinking, a foreign language (English or German) and mathematics.

Fulfillment of the conditions is verified by an entrance exam:

- written verification of logical thinking assumptions;

- a knowledge test on the basics of economics and economics, on history, social science and on a foreign language according to the applicant's choice from the options provided, within the scope of the secondary school curriculum.

 

 

"Management and Law":

 An applicant for studies on the jointly provided study program Management and law in the study fields 8. economics and management and 30. law at the first level of study has completed a complete high school education with a high school diploma. He has knowledge of high school mathematics and the basics of social science disciplines at such a level that he is able to build on the knowledge from high school and complete the teaching of the subjects of the study program. He has mastered the English language at such a level that, in addition to successfully passing the English language entrance exam, he is able to complete the teaching of subjects in the English language and receive evaluation and credits from them. Successful completion of the admission procedure is a condition for admission to study.

50% assessment of the entrance exam in mathematics

50% evaluation of the applicant's language skills

 

A condition for admission is a sufficient level of the applicant's language skills. In the event that the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the faculties, the order of accepted applicants will be decided on the basis of the assessment of the applicant's language skills and the applicant's high school results in the subject of mathematics, with priority given to applicants who have passed the matriculation exam or its equivalent in mathematics.

8. Information for applicants who completed their previous studies abroad

In the case of applicants who graduated from high school abroad, an officially certified photocopy of the decision on the equivalence of the educational document or its guaranteed conversion into electronic form is required.

"Law":

a) an officially certified photocopy of the matriculation certificate, or its guaranteed conversion into electronic form, or

b) an officially certified photocopy of the decision on the equivalence of the educational document or its guaranteed conversion into electronic form.

 

Confirmation of high school results is not required.

 

"Economics and law"

1. Officially certified copy of the school leaving certificate (the last day of submission is the day of the entrance exam).

2. Applicants who studied at a foreign high school shall submit a Decision on recognition of the equivalence of the educational document, or Confirmation of the equivalence of the education document issued by a foreign school and the transfer of grades to the Slovak classification scale

3. Proof of payment of the fee to the NHF EUBA account for the admission procedure.

A medical certificate of the applicant's eligibility for studies is not required.

 

"Management and Law"

Curriculum vitae (in English),

- Letter of motivation (in English),

- Certified photocopies of documents on completion of secondary school studies with matriculation or an equivalent exam,

- Documents proving knowledge of the English language at least at B2 level (e.g. IELTS – min. 5.5, ESOL – min. FCE (Grade C), matriculation exam certificate, state language exam certificate),

- Study applicants from EU member states and Slovak study applicants who studied at a foreign high school shall submit a Decision on recognition of the equivalence of the educational document, or Confirmation of the equivalence of the educational document issued by a foreign school, these conditions do not apply to citizens of the Czech Republic.

A medical certificate of the applicant's eligibility for studies is not required. Confirmation of high school results is not required
