Membership Conditions

The Alumni Club is founded for graduates who have a second degree in law and have successfully completed their Bachelor's, Master's, Joint Master's or Doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University. Membership in the Alumni Club is voluntary, and new members may be admitted on the basis of meeting the conditions set out in the Alumni Club Statute after reviewing the Statute and submitting an application in the form of filling in the application form designed for candidates for membership.

Members enjoy various rights, including the right to attend the meetings of the Plenary of the Alumni Club and participate in its decisions, the right to participate in the Alumni Club's events, and the right to receive regular information about the activities of the Alumni Club and the faculty.

A member may, upon recommendation from individual members of the Executive Board and recommendations from committed members of the Alumni Club or upon recommendation from the Dean, be granted a committed member status. Committed member status is awarded on the basis of the member's contributions to the activities and reputation of the faculty. A committed member shall have the right to participate in all Club events, may be appointed as the President of the Club or as a member of the Executive Board, and shall be eligible for other benefits as determined by a resolution of the Executive Board.

The Alumni Club membership may be terminated for a variety of reasons, including self-initiated termination, expulsion, failure to meet requirements, or final conviction of a wilful crime.

The Alumni Club maintains a list of its members in accordance with the University's Privacy Policy.
