Summon

Almost all electronic resources subscribed to by Comenius University can be searched quickly and efficiently from one place using the Summon search tool.

 

Citation Databases

Web of Science

Web of Science (WOS) is a multidisciplinary research portal. Web of Science Core Collection enables simultaneous cross-searching of seven databases and citation indexes. Current Contents Connect (CCC) provides access to complete bibliographic information of the world's leading scholarly journals and books. Journal Citation Reports (JCR) presents quantifiable statistical data for evaluating the journals. Essential Science Indicators (ESI) is a resource that analyses the research performance and track trends in science.

Scopus

Scopus is an abstract and citation database from Elsevier which offers comprehensive overview of international research output with the main focus on the European scientific production. Searches in Scopus also incorporate web sources and patent information.

Terms and Conditions

Access to several above mentioned information resources is provided within the NISPEZ project guaranteed by CVTI SR and financed by the European Regional Development Fund, Operational Program Research and Development. The use of these resources is intended especially for scientific research community in Slovakia.

Comenius Univeristy is committed to follow all the conditions of access set by resources' providers. Specific resources may have specific conditions, so it is necessary to see relevant information directly at information resource website ("Terms and Conditions"). In general, however, it is forbidden to download full texts using any robot, or other programs for automatic and rapid downloading of data. Users are allowed to view, print or store full text articles for their own use within the granted licenses, but it is not allowed to download and redistribute the data. Non-compliance with license conditions can lead to blocking access to the resources for the entire university.
