On 17 February 2026, Nikola Kováčiková, a lawyer at the UNCITRAL Secretariat in Vienna, gave a lecture at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava. The lecture was organised by the Department of International Law and International Relations as part of the UNCITRAL Transdanubian Days 2026.

The lecture focused on the role of UNCITRAL in modernising and harmonising international trade law, with a particular emphasis on international arbitration.

This inspiring event was the first in a series of expert activities that the department plans to organise during the current academic year, with institutional support from UNCITRAL.
