The foundational pillar of restoration of their independence was the principle of state continuity. The presentation will discuss the content of this principle in the constitutional development of the Baltic states in the light of looming centennial anniversary in 2018.
This event provides all participants with a unique opportunity to hear about the legal situation in the Baltic States from leading expert in the field, who worked on various legislative initiatives in the Latvian Parliament and currently works as advisor for the President of Latvia.
