Scope of function:

Mgr. Maroš Pavlovič, PhD., LL.M graduated in 2018 with a Master's degree in Law at the Comenius University Bratislava, Faculty of Law, where he defended his master's thesis on Land Law in the Investment Process. In 2021, he completed his doctoral studies in the field of administrative law at the Comenius University Bratislava, Faculty of Law, where he defended his dissertation on Public Administration and Land Law. In 2020, he completed his advanced post-graduate studies at the University of Security Management in Košice, where he finished his final thesis on the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic Case Law in the matter of the Real Estate Cadastre. Since 2018, he has been working at the Department of Administrative and Environmental Law at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University Bratislava, first as a PhD student and since 2021 as an assistant professor. In his scientific and pedagogical activities, he focuses mainly on land law, substantive administrative law and environmental law. He is the principal investigator of the Research and Development Agency's project No. 19-0494 entitled Effective Land Improvements and the principal investigator of the project supported by the European Commission under the CERV-LS programme entitled Activation of young generation in the times of climate policy backlash in Central Europe. He has taken part in study and work stays at home and abroad. He organizes an annual conference on land law, has written learning materials for the subject of land law and several scientific studies and analyses. Currently he is preparing the ComenIUS podcast.
