The project aligns with the Jean Monnet Action by integrating innovative teaching methodologies into EU legal studies, with a particular focus on external relations, security, and trade policies. It introduces specialized courses on European Union Foreign Trade Law, European Union Security and Defence Law, and European Economic Area Law, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the EU’s external governance. These initiatives contribute to the EU’s strategic objectives of strengthening security, crisis management and economic stability, thus reinforcing both internal and external security frameworks. A key innovation of the project is its multidimensional approach to education: Enhancing academic excellence through case studies, legal analysis, and interdisciplinary research. International collaboration among researchers, boosting expertise and recognition in the field of EU external policies. Bridging academia and society via conferences, roundtables, and open-access digital lectures, ensuring broad dissemination of EU security and trade law principles. Engagement with high school students, cultivating European identity and values through thematic lectures on EU external policies. The project also generates policy impact by equipping graduates with specialized knowledge for roles in EU institutions and national administrations. Research outputs will shape legal scholarship and contribute to policy discussions on trade, migration, security, and minority protection, addressing contemporary challenges such as hybrid threats and organized crime. By strengthening public awareness of EU security policies, the project promotes a shared European identity, safeguards democratic governance, and highlights the EU’s role in addressing transnational threats. Through interactive and digital dissemination, it brings EU law closer to citizens, reinforcing the fundamental values of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.
