Restorative justice programmes

Implementation: 2025 - 2027

The project focuses on exploring appropriate restorative justice programmes so that the increase in probation and mediation officers alone does not defeat the purpose. The most commonly used restorative justice programs include Victim Offender Mediation (VOM), Family Group Conferences (FGC), and Peacemaking/Sentencing Circles (SC). These programs are an integral part of the criminal justice system in several foreign countries.
